The Art Enthusiast is inspired by Artists' original works. We feature art, fashion, design and beauty.
Rae is the jewelry line by artist Rebecca Culbreth. Rae's debut lookbook was shot in the Idaho desert and Sun Valley in 2014. This was a team effort where we both scouted location, id wardrobe, modeling, photography, set design, materials, editing, and printing.
Nicoya Water was an artisan water concept from the Blue Zone of Costa Rica's Guanacaste region. Nicoya wished to market and advertise to women in Los Angeles. They wanted to show women in regular daily life, no faces, capturing a moment in time that represented inherent peace.
I was happy when Nicoya approached me to help with branding, research, photography, and product development. They felt I was the demographic who would buy Nicoya water and they were right. I studied a lot about the Blue Zones, and why this water was so special. It's quite miraculous how plate tectonics from millions of years ago can create healthy water we drink today.
Unfortunately a drought hit the region and the project was halted. I loved how Nicoya was developing into a luxury water company and learned a lot about specialty waters all over the world, as well as learned about water crises, global management and the hunt for water as the new gold of our era.
I am so grateful that California currently has enough water and that the basins are filling. It is our most precious resource and one of my very favorite muses to photograph.
I built TWP Financial's website (photoshoot, squarespace), youtube channel and social media on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. I write their monthly newsletters and their blog posts. http://www.twpfinancial.com
